PILLAR #1 - OUR CHURCH FAMILY
We have a NEXT-Generation Vision for Worship & Discipleship.
Colossians 1:28 reminds us why— “Him we proclaim… that we may present everyone mature in Christ.”
An obedient church is not a social club or about comfort. It’s about sanctification and calling. We will only increasingly Worship King Jesus and pass that on to the NEXT Generations to Come.
This includes with the use of our buildings:
- Giving CG Kids their own space
- A distinctly Christian educational resource center for the kids of our community in every form of schooling.
- Preparing for a future move of our Sunday worship services into the gym.
PILLAR #2 - OUR CAMPUS
We have a NEXT-Level Transformative Vision for the 9-acres and
45,000 sq ft Campus God has given us!
We have a strategic property in our city. After 70 years of it being a private school campus, through The NEXT Initiative we aim to unlock its full potential to bless, serve, and strengthen the wellness of our community.
This includes the use of our buildings and transforming our outdoor spaces in such ways as:
- Remodeling many inside spaces for safe community use such as living room settings for foster and natural families to meet, for counseling, spiritual care, Bible classes and conferences, special-needs spaces, Christian library, events, and more.
- Walking trails with wellness, exercise, and spiritual features
- A variety of enhanced sports facilities for our community, including soccer and basketball, and adding as God provides, pickleball and disc golf.
We are a vital part in God’s desire for our community’s total wellness. Jesus told His church, “You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden.” (Matthew 5:14)
PILLAR #3 - OUR COMMUNITY & WORLD
We have a NEXT-Level Vision of Impact, from our Neighborhood to the Nations.
Committed to Jesus’ mission, in our NEXT season, we will:
- Strengthen partnerships with local ministries to serve the community and
global missions to reach the world.
- Have a pinnacle season of Supporting and Sending new missionaries.
- Expand our reach to our adopted People, the Fulani of Central Africa, and
global Places, starting with Cuba.
- And simply be a church marked by faithfulness, generosity, and love.
“In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.” (1 John 4:9)
