What is the purpose of The 6:33 Prayer Initiative?
- To keep prayer at the forefront of the Building Impact Initiative for the entire year of 2024, reaffirming our dependence on God and His power for the vision He has given us to reach and impact more people for Jesus.
- To join God on this spiritual journey as He stretches our faith, individually as well as corporately as His church, and to sacrificially give of our time, talents, and treasure.
- To keep our Church Body focused on the true goal of this initiative – to reach more people for Jesus!
This prayer initiative is based on Matthew 6:33, where Jesus said, “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
So on the 3rd Tuesday of every month, at 6:33 AM & 6:33 PM, the whole church will stop and pray together, wherever we are for 5-10 minutes. We will be seeking and asking God to build His Kingdom through us as we put Him first.
